Cluster Munitions Coalition The Cluster Munition Coalition (CMC) is an international coalition working to protect civilians from the effects of cluster munitions. The CMC has a membership of around 300 civil society organisations from more than 80 countries, and includes organisations working on disarmament, peace and security, human rights, victim/survivor assistance, clearance, women’s rights, faith issues and other areas of work. The CMC facilitates the efforts of NGOs worldwide to educate governments, the public and the media about the problems of cluster munitions and the solution.

The Columbans specifically approach their work from a standpoint of solidarity with the poor and the integrity of creation. This is an option taken because the poor are unjustly marginalised. Basically solidarity with the poor means that, regardless of the particular context of the work which the Columbans do, they recognise the moral challenge of worldwide and local poverty. This recognition of the impact of poverty means that all the work the Columbans may undertake is evaluated in terms of what effect it has on the poor. It means supporting the struggle of the poor for real participation and against injustice
International Campaign To Abolish Nuclear Weapons ICAN is a new campaign initiated by the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW), a federation of medical professionals in 60 countries. ICAN focuses on the roots of the nuclear weapons problem - the continued possession of nuclear weapons by a small minority of countries who risk their use by design, accident, miscalculation or by terrorists, and whose weapons are an incentive to others to also become nuclear armed. ICAN aims to achieve a Nuclear Weapons Convention to ban the development, possession and use of nuclear weapons.
