Pax Christi  Australia (NSW) Inc gives notice and invites members & interested people to its Annual General Meeting on Monday 6th March 2017 at 6.00 pm for 6.30 pm Fr Claude Mostowik msc National President of Pax Christi Australia – Pax Christi NSW Convenor – MSC Justice and Peace Coordinator – Catholic Religious Australia Justice Network Coordinator

 will speak on the topic:

Just War Theory – ever just or just for whom?

Claude works tirelessly to liaise with a multitude of groups on behalf of any issue or situation that calls for a social justice response. The scope of this work is both within and beyond Australia. Claude works to protect the human rights of many groups including Indigenous Australians, those who seek Asylum, discrimination of LGBTI people and any disadvantaged people in our community. Claude is member of the movement Love Makes a Way – a group who are seeking to challenge government phentermine policy for asylum seekers. Claude has been arrested a number of times during these actions to express opposition to the government’s current Asylum Seeker Policies.

Claude works three days a week at the Edmund Rice Justice Centre and produces the publication Just Comment – an information sheet on current topics. Claude works 2 days a week at Catholic Religious Australia.
