Dear members and friends of Pax Christi

On Sunday 9th December Pax Christi Victoria celebrates 45 years of working for peace at our final gathering for 2018.

We have never been alone.  We have been and remain players in a much wider peace movement, many peace movements old and new and many individuals.

We are inviting all past and present members of Pax Christi to join us but we are also inviting representatives of our partner movements who have been and continue to work with us.  We hope that people how can’t join us would like to send a message. We will spend some time reflecting on some of the campaigns and the people involved over the past 45 years and develop into a conversation on where the peace movement is now and where it might go in the future. There are many experiences to share and we hope you can come and share your own memories and hopes. Also bring pictures and other memorabilia. We are anxious to make this an event for as wide a representation of the peace movement as possible so we would really value you participation.

N.B. We anticipate a relaxed conversation rather than a formal meeting

We begin with a shared lunch at 1 p.m. ( bring some food to share. Heating facilities available, and aim to finish by about 4.15 with the “cutting of the cake.”

Hope to see you then

Harry
