The World Council of Churches organises the annual Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. This year, the NSW Ecumenical Council had organised a service to be held at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Parramatta. Due to Covid19 restrictions, the service is now online.
The service is on Sunday 24 May from 3.00-4.00. Representatives from many Christian churches will participate in the service e.g.the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Parramatta, the Archbishop of the Assyrian Church of the East, the Moderator of the Uniting Church in NSW and ACT, the Archbishop of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle, the general secretary of the NCCA, the co-convenor of the Youth Commission of the Council, several ministers of religion and board members of the Council. The Coptic Church in Kellyville will host the technology. The flyer is attached.
