West Papua Notice ­“Filep Karma, the most famous political prisoner in West Papua, died last week,” Joe Collins said in an email today (7th Nov 2022). United Liberation Movement for West Papua chair Benny Wenda said, “Filep stood for justice, democracy, peace and non-violent resistance.  For us Filep was the equivalent to Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King.”
