Next Monday is the Australian Premiere of The Atom: A Love Affair, with a post-screening Q&A with Director Vicki Lesley, Scott Ludlam and former ACF President Professor Ian Lowe AO – and I’d love for you to come along. Buy your tickets now. 
With the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference set to highlight the national climate debate and increasing talk of nuclear submarines, I think it’s an important time to revisit and learn from our past. Our energy future is renewable, not radioactive – and there’s lots of good reasons why!
 
The Atom: A Love Affair documents humanity’s turbulent love-hate relationship with nuclear power. 
It covers the many ‘half-lifes’ of nukes, from white-hot technological saviour post-war to a source of incomparable disaster following the Three Mile Island and Chernobyl failures that inspired the rise of many environmental grassroots groups across the world. Watch the film and attend the live Q&A.
