In light of the tragic events that occurred in Christchurch last week Unions NSW is organising a candlelight vigil in support of the people of Christchurch and to take a stand against all forms of racism in our communities.

The vigil will be held at Town Hall Square at 5.30pm this Thursday  21st March.

The event will have a number of speakers from community organisations and we would greatly appreciate your support in attending the event.

A copy of the link to our event can be found here  https://www.facebook.com/events/429995517740079/. If you could also support this event by pushing it out to your networks that would be greatly appreciated.

Unions NSW will be handing out flyers promoting the Vigil to commuters this Wednesday morning at the City Circle Train Stations from 7am -9am. If you are able to assist or would like to discuss this event please contact Assistant Secretary Thomas Costa at tcosta@unionsnsw.org.au
